“Wharton County Women’s Care Center is deeply personal to me.
At 15, when I faced my own unplanned pregnancy, I walked through the doors of a pregnancy center in Houston and received compassion and support. I spent about eight weeks at LifeHouse Maternity Home while my life stabilized. Throughout my tenth-grade year, I attended a school for pregnant girls, where I continued my education and received prenatal care from an OB-GYN.
The people who gave and served invested not only in a pregnant teenager, but also in her future. Today, WCWCC is a part of the fruit of the care that was once extended to me.”
